Special Features: Named for the flocks of now extinct passenger pigeons which fed on the, great American Chestnut forest which was once the dominant forest tree in this region, this property is the site of an esker, which is a reminder of the glaciers that once covered Plainville in ice that was thousands of feet thick.
Location - off Taunton Street. Trails currently unmarked. Fall tours upon request.
